European businesses without a national research association to benefit from new EFAMRO membership
Companies in countries with no official organisation representing the market and social research sector now have the opportunity to join the European Research Federation (EFAMRO) through its Corporate Membership package.

Two businesses, Norstat Group, based in Sweden, and RAIT Group, which has branches in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Sweden, have already taken up this exciting offer. Both will now have access to the extensive range of services that comes with EFAMRO membership.
The federation, which celebrated its thirtieth birthday last year, aims to represent the common interests of its members at European and international levels. Among the support it provides is guidance on ethical and legal issues, as well as a weekly newsletter about the research sector. It lobbies for businesses at EU institutions and leads on consultation responses on the sector’s behalf.

Henrik Åquist, Managing Director Norstat Sweden, comments:
“Being one of the leading data collection agencies in Europe with roots in the Nordics, we consider it as a must to be represented throughout Europe via our EFAMRO membership. With no association representing Swedish research interests, EFAMRO representation gives us market intelligence and business support as well as the opportunity to broaden our reach and influence across the bloc.”

Dovilė Končak, CEO of RAIT Group, comments:
“As a leading independent full-service market research company in Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, we’re committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. By joining EFAMRO, we expect to gain access to valuable resources, networking opportunities and the latest industry insights. We look forward to collaborating with other members, sharing our expertise and learning from the best.”
EFAMRO Corporate Membership will operate alongside the current Association Membership – for national trade associations such as MRS in the UK and ADM in Germany – promoting international co-operation and raising the standards of research and insight practices.

Bernd Wachter, president of EFAMRO, comments:
“In these challenging times, with costs high and war in Europe, ensuring we have close international ties is vital. Promoting cross border links in research is one of the key reasons that we have created our new Corporate Membership, alongside our desire to support businesses in countries that do not have a national research association.
“I’m confident we can provide real value through this new offer to businesses such as Norstat Group and RAIT Group, who I welcome as our first Corporate Members.”
